What is VelaShape?
VelaShape 3 is a non-invasive therapy to shape your body and reduce the appearance of cellulite, using a combination of technologies: vacuum technology manipulates your skin, while infrared light and bipolar radiofrequency energies gently heat the fat cells and surrounding tissue.

How does VelaShape work?
VelaShape III uses elōs Plus technology, the only non-invasive body contouring treatment that combines four different technologies:
bipolar radiofrequency (RF) and infrared (IR) energy, and two types of tissue massage - mechanical and vacuum.
The unique combination accelerates the consumption of accumulated fat, shrinks existing fat cells and increases lymphatic drainage. This is achieved by precisely targeted and controlled heating of the dermal and hypodermal tissues (using both IR and RF energy), while simultaneously massaging to smooth the skin.
Procedure
Velashape is not a painful experience: many women described the experience as quite pleasant, comparing the Velashape treatment to a deep tissue massage. The treatment tightens and smooths the skin while tackling cellulite with three unique technologies.
Velashape offers a synergistic use of energies: infrared light heats tissue to a depth of 3mm, bipolar radio frequency heats tissue up to 15mm deep and both take place in combination with vacuum. Does therapy hurt?
Most patients find the therapy comfortable - it feels like a hot stone massage. VelaShape III therapy is designed to adapt to your sensitivity and comfort level. It is common to feel warmth for a few hours after the therapy. Your skin may also be red for several hours.

How many visits do I need?
The number of VelaShape III treatments varies depending on your body composition, aesthetic goals and desired areas. While some clients see noticeable improvements after a few treatments, optimal results usually occur after several visits spaced several weeks apart. During your consultation at NYD Clinic, we will provide you with a clear outline of the recommended number of treatments for best results.
When will the results be visible?
You can expect a more moisturised appearance immediately after the treatment, and an overall improvement in skin tone, texture and elasticity after 8 weeks.
Does VelaShape help you lose weight?
Velashape is ideal for cellulite reduction, but is not intended for weight loss. Velashape is FDA approved not only for cellulite reduction but also for volume reduction, so you may see your clothes fit better after treatments.
Are the results sustainable?
No, VelaShape results are not permanent. You will need to maintain them with regular visits at least every six months, as well as regular exercise and a healthy diet.
