Fotona4D® is an innovative laser therapy that uses a unique combination of two laser wavelengths to treat 4 different "dimensions" of the skin on the face, rejuvenating and toning it from the inside out.

How does a laser (non-surgical) facelift work?
Fotona4D® is a set of synergistic non-invasive laser therapies for the external face and the inner oral cavity. It enables full-thickness collagen contraction for permanent firming and volumising without injectables.
The Fotona4D® laser therapy uses a unique combination of two wavelengths to achieve four different ways of facial rejuvenation. The laser light stimulates the regeneration and production of new collagen, which has the effect of improving the skin's tension and elasticity. The treatment is delivered not only over the facial skin, but also over the oral mucosa, stimulating collagen production on both sides and producing long-lasting effects.
4D stands for the 4 "dimensions" of rejuvenation, referring to four different therapies:
Step 1 (1D) - SmoothLiftin™
The first step in laser therapy is called SmoothLiftin™, a non-ablative intraoral treatment with Er:YAG to controllably and gently heat the tissue, stimulating collagen contraction. In addition to the immediate effect, which causes the collagen fibres to shrink, the production of new collagen is also triggered.
The result is improved firmness and elasticity of the treated tissue and a tightening effect of the nasolabial folds from the inside, similar to dermal fillers.
Step 2 (2D): FRAC3
In the second step, deeper imperfections (such as deep lines) and pigments are addressed to restore a youthful texture and a more even overall complexion.
Step 3 (3D): PIANO®
The next step is a unique, extra-long pulsed Nd:YAG mode called PIANO. The laser safely and quickly causes extensive heating of the tissue from the outside in by delivering heat energy to the subcutaneous tissue.
The so-called brushing technique is used, which provides a remarkable lifting effect in areas where the skin is loose.
Step 4 (4D): SupErficial™
The final step is a gentle laser exfoliation, which gently exfoliates the skin and leaves it pearl-smooth. This treatment also improves the appearance of the skin, reducing surface imperfections and restoring a youthful texture.

Most patients will see results quickly after 4D treatment, but the peak will only be visible after 2 to 3 months, when the collagen has been rebuilt.
Fotona 4D® is suitable for most individuals. However, it produces the best results for patients who are prone to:

- hyperpigmentation or obvious sun spots
- nasal wrinkles
- uneven skin tone and texture
You may have slight redness, which will subside within a few hours. Photon 4D® is a non-surgical and non-invasive procedure, so there is no downtime.
Patients can resume normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.
A Photon 4D treatment usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour.
