Kinesio taping improves the quality of rehabilitation

Kinesio taping in physiotherapy used to treat pain, disease and injury in the body. Kinesio taping is a therapeutic technique involving the application of a special elastic band on the body to support muscles and joints, improve circulation and reduce pain. The strap is designed to mimic the properties of human skin and allows full range of movement while providing gentle support. Patients are often referred for physiotherapy after medical or surgical procedures, as this reduces rehabilitation time and improves the healing process.

Kinesio Taping

Because kinesio tape fixed to the skin, the skin pushes against the underlying tissue as it moves. This constant stimulus is thought to regulate muscle tension (toning) by activating different receptors and triggering the transmission of a signal to the central nervous system. In addition to touch receptors, these receptors include pain receptors, temperature receptors and receptors that tell the body where in space, for example, the limbs are located (proprio receptors). The irritation caused by the kinesio tape is also thought to reduce pain and improve blood flow. Tape also supports and relieves an injured muscle, ligament or joint. Kinesio tape is used for a variety of injuries to reduce recovery time and pain - often in combination with other therapies. Kinesio taping helps with the following pains or problems:

Kinesiology taping is a therapeutic technique involving the application of a special elastic band to the body to support muscles and joints, improve circulation and reduce pain. The strap is designed to mimic the properties of human skin and allows full range of movement while providing gentle support.

The kinesiology tape works by slightly tightens the skin, which can help improve blood and lymph circulation, reduce swelling and relieve pain. The elasticity of the strap allows it to move with the body and provides support without restricting movement.

Kinesiology taping can offer various benefits, including pain relief, improved muscle and joint stability, improved athletic performance and accelerated recovery from injury. It can also help with reducing swelling and inflammation, supporting correct posture and providing support during physical activity. However, it is important to consult a healthcare professional about its correct use to determine whether kinesiology taping is suitable for your specific needs.
