Medical examination for university admission
Preparations for university are in full swing, perhaps you are already thinking about what freshers' week will be like, what the professors will be like, and what challenges your student city will bring you.
Before the faculty officially welcomes you into its ranks, you have to – yes, even that – pass a medical examination. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt!
Who needs a medical examination for university enrolment?
Are you an upcoming student in the healthcare, sports or educational field? Then it is good to know that a medical examination is a condition for official admission to your chosen faculty. At NYD Clinic, we will ensure that your medical examination for enrolment is simple, professional and friendly.

The medical examination for university enrolment for students is carried out by a specialist in occupational, traffic and sports medicine. The purpose of including a preventive medical examination before the start of studies is to monitor your health status and detect any potential illnesses early. Thus, as a future student, you will be prepared for all the challenges of studying and daily life. The examination includes vision testing, laboratory blood and urine tests, ECG measurements, spirometry, blood pressure measurements and a consultation with a specialist physician. The medical examination is usually self-funded and costs around €60. The Rules on the Implementation of Preventive Healthcare give students the right to preventive systematic health examinations, while their obligation is determined by the faculties. If you are not sure whether your faculty also requires an examination by a specialist doctor, we advise you to call your faculty's administrative office. At the NYD Clinic, we will offer you complete support throughout the entire process so that you can start your studies with confidence.

I received intravenous vitamin therapy for burnout at the NYD clinic. The staff were friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!
Fast, efficient, quality. Thank you!
I took a 5-pack of acupuncture for neck pain. This package is much better value for money. I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the facilities are modern and very clean. I will be happy to go for any therapy or procedure.
I recommend them, I only go to them for fillers (forehead and between the eyebrows) in Ljubljana. The premises are nicely decorated and I had my turn at the appointed time without any waiting.
