Iztok Tepeš je specialist otorinolaringologije z bogatimi domačimi in mednarodnimi izkušnjami. Svojo poklicno pot je po študiju na Medicinski fakulteti v Ljubljani in specializaciji v UKC Ljubljana nadgrajeval v priznanih tujih ustanovah — med drugim v Združenem kraljestvu (Medway Maritime Hospital), Avstriji (Universitätsklinikum Graz) ter Španiji (Universitat de Barcelona). Uspešno je opravil tudi ameriške strokovne izpite USMLE.
Na NYD kliniki skrbi za celostno in sodobno obravnavo pacientov z obolenji ušes, nosu, grla ter področja glave in vratu. V okviru sodelovanja s Splošno bolnišnico Novo mesto redno opravlja tudi operativne posege. K pacientom pristopa strokovno, predano in z osredotočenostjo na posameznikove potrebe.
